Who makes it
We sell the piece. These benches make it.
Ayin is not a workshop pretending to be a website, and it is not a website pretending to be a workshop. The design, the model, every measurement and the price are ours. The metal is poured, the stones are set and the piece is finished by a manufacturing partner — and you are told which one, by name, before it is made.
The benches
Our partners are being listed here as each one comes on. Until a name is on this page, it is not making our pieces — we would rather show you an empty list than a vague one. Write to hello@fromayin.com and we will tell you exactly who is making yours.
What they sign
No bench is sent work until it has agreed to this.
Half of what we promise you is theirs to keep. A piece with nothing of you in it comes back to us for a full refund within 30 days and the bench is still paid for its work — you never fund somebody’s change of mind. A piece carrying your own words cannot be sold to anyone else, so it is remade instead, free, by the same bench, out of the same gold and the same stones, as many times as it takes.
That second one costs them money, which is exactly why it is signed before any order arrives rather than argued about after one goes wrong. Each bench accepts it by name and by date, against a specific version of the text; when we rewrite it, everyone signs again and nothing is offered to anybody in the meantime.
They also see the terms on every individual offer, struck from the piece itself. There is no piece whose terms a bench — or you — learns afterwards.
How an order reaches them
Every bench at once. First to take it makes it.
When you order, your card is held and the piece goes to every partner in the same moment, with its measurements, its stones, what it pays and which promise it carries. The first to take it is the one that makes it. Nobody waits in a queue behind a workshop that is closed for a festival.
If no bench is free within 24 hours we cancel the order and release the hold in full, and we tell you that is what happened. We would rather lose the sale than have you wait a fortnight for a ring nobody has started.
Join us
If you run a bench, we would like to hear from you.
We bring finished work: a complete model, every measurement, the stones specified, the customer already paid for and waiting. No quoting, no chasing, no drawing up a CAD from a photograph somebody sent at midnight. You take the pieces you want and pass on the ones you do not, and passing costs you nothing.
