Let me hear you

הַשְׁמִיעִינִי אֶת קוֹלֵךְ

Let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet.

“My dove in the clefts of the rock, let me see you, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet.”Rashi hears Israel at the sea, the water ahead and Pharaoh behind, a dove with nowhere to go.They cried out, and that voice was the one He wanted. One stroke of gold round the rim of your ear, fine where it begins and full where it ends.No piercing.

Shir HaShirim 2:14, with Rashi
