In short
- We keep what you give us to design and deliver your piece: your email, your words and pictures, your designs, and at checkout your name, address and phone.
- Your card and bank details are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number or your full bank account number.
- Try-on photos: we ask first, use them only for the try-on, never to train AI, and delete them after 30 days, or sooner when you ask.
- Your jeweller gets only what they need to make and send your piece.
- No advertising cookies, and we never sell your information.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold, write to concierge@fromayin.com.
The full policy
1. Who we are
Ayin is Eliyahu Moshe Leinkram, ABN 98 293 572 810, of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We are responsible for the information you give us here, and we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for people in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR. Write to concierge@fromayin.com about anything on this page.
2. What we keep
- Your account: your email, and your name if you sign in with Google. If you design before signing in, a guest account keeps your work.
- What you make: the words you type, the pictures you upload, your designs and the choices you make, and how quickly the page answers your taps, so we can make it faster.
- Try-on photos, if you choose to try a piece on (below).
- Your orders: your name, delivery address, phone and email, what you ordered, and our messages with you. Stripe tells us a payment went through; it never gives us your card number or your full bank account number.
- The waitlist, if you join it from outside Australia: your email and your country, and nothing else.
- Technical records: your IP address and browser, in our servers’ logs, to keep Ayin safe and working.
3. Why we keep it
- to design, show and price your piece;
- to take your order, have it made and send it to you;
- to send you sign-in codes and letters about your order, and to answer you;
- to write to you once when Ayin opens in your country, if you joined the waitlist;
- to keep Ayin safe, and to prevent fraud;
- to make Ayin better, for example learning which designs come out well (never with photos of you);
- to keep the records the law requires.
We only write to you about your account, your orders and, if you asked, Ayin opening in your country. If we ever send news, it will be only with your consent.
4. AI
To turn your words and pictures into a design, we send them to the AI model providers we work with, who process them for us. We send only what the design needs, not your email or your address.
5. Try-on photos
Before your first try-on photo is uploaded, we ask for your consent. Your photos are used only to show a piece on you. They are processed by an image provider working for us only to make that picture.
We never use them to train AI, ours or anyone’s, and never show them to anyone else. Only you can see them, when you are in your account.
They are deleted 30 days after you upload them, or sooner when you delete them or ask us to. Please only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed.
6. Who sees it
- Your jeweller: your design, and the name, address and phone they need to make and send it.
- Stripe, which takes your payment, by card or by bank, under its own privacy policy.
- The carrier, to deliver your piece.
- The companies that run Ayin for us: Cloudflare (hosting, storage and email), our database host, Google (only if you sign in with Google) and our AI model providers.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell your information, and never share it for advertising.
7. Outside Australia
Some of the companies above may be in other countries, including the United States and the European Union, so your information may be stored and handled there. We share only what each needs, with the protections the law requires.
8. Cookies
Ayin sets four cookies of its own, read only by Ayin, and uses your browser’s storage for small preferences. No advertising cookies, no one else’s cookies, and no outside analytics.
| Cookie | What it does, and how long it lasts |
|---|---|
| Your sign-in | Keeps you in your account, and keeps your designs if you design as a guest. 7 days, renewed each day you use Ayin; signing out ends it. |
| ayin_v | Counts visits to Ayin with a random number of its own, not your name or email, so we know how people find us and which pages lead to a design. 180 days. |
| ayin_to | Remembers the country you chose for delivery, if you choose one, so prices are shown in your money. One year. |
| ayin_city | Remembers the city you chose, if you choose one. One year. |
Ayin’s typeface loads from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for it, which shows Google your IP address.
9. How long we keep it
- Try-on photos: 30 days, or until you delete them.
- Your account and designs: until you delete them, or your account.
- The waitlist: until we have written to you that Ayin is open in your country, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Orders: five years, as tax law requires.
- Server logs: only as long as they help keep Ayin safe.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, and withdraw your consent to try-on photos at any time. Write to concierge@fromayin.com; we answer within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes your designs and photos; we keep only the order records the law requires.
In the European Union and the United Kingdom you can also object to or limit how we use your information, and complain to your data protection authority. In Australia, if we do not resolve a complaint, you can go to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
11. Keeping it safe
Everything travels encrypted, only the people who need it can reach it, try-on photos are private to your account, and card numbers and full bank account numbers never reach us. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we tell you.
Ayin is not for children under 16.
12. Changes
This is version 2026-10-21. If we change how we use your information, we update this page and its date first, and ask again where the law requires your consent.
